All NebraskaWood products are created from wood that is locally sourced, when possible. Wood is harvested from fallen and dead trees on the artist's family-owned land in rural Cass and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska. The wood is the result of storms and natural die-off. Occasionally, pruned branches are used in some items. The most commonly used woods are Elm, Oak, Walnut, Ash, Hackberry, Hickory and limited fruit woods like Cherry and Peach.
This live edge slab of Maple wood has been beautifully enhanced with an inlaid cross made of crushed turquoise. Approximate size: 9.75" high x 2.75" wide x .875" thick.
